Nor Cal Blast has generally been known as a solid developmental organization with an emphasis on fundamentals, exposure, and helping players continue their softball careers beyond travel ball. Their recruiting history suggests a strong focus on placing athletes in academically strong college programs as well as competitive softball programs.
